We’ve rebranded and I hope you like it. For me it represents the simplicity of our ethos which is to offer the best bespoke care to you as individuals, families or employees and companies. And it’s a change I hope we all embrace! In 2024 I will be doing more work around anti-ageing medicine and hope to provide you all individually tailored care. Will there ever be a cure to ageing?

Anti-Ageing

“20 years from now you’d give anything to be this exact age, exactly this healthy, in this exact moment.Take a second to enjoy it.” Richard Webster As I get older, I am increasingly interested in the subject of ageing, both professionally and personally. I recently read the book Lifespan by David Sinclair which covers some of the new science behind why we age. Put simply, Sinclair argues that the way we look at age-related diseases is fundamentally wrong. As a result, he believes we still don’t have a true understanding of the biology of ageing, and therefore don’t have the …

Addicted to …..

As featured in last weekend’s Sunday Times, the Dr Khalique Medical Practice in Marylebone has formed a partnership with the renowned cognitive behavioural therapist, Rameez Ali. There’s also improved energy, stamina and immune health, good skin, mood and mental wellbeing – the list goes on. But it’s easy to get confused about what constitutes a healthy diet. Our lives are busier than ever and we’re time poor, so pre-prepared and processed foods can seem like a godsend. Packaging, however, can be misleading and nutritional information and labelling is not easy to decipher. Excess consumption of salt, sugar and saturated fat calories have been linked with …

Embracing Equity this International Women’s Day

Ahead of International Women’s Day tomorrow, I’ve been spending some time thinking about the brilliant women who have helped make the practice what it is today. I’ve spent my career surrounded by exceptional females – from friends to colleagues and patients too. Every day. I am inspired by the women (and of course men too) around me, and its these people that have helped us build the practice that you see today. Since way before I first started the Dr Sophia Khalique Medical Practice Marylebone, I’ve been passionate about the idea of celebrating individuality, so making sure that it is …
